OML has a range of treatments to help walking for people with neurological problems. These include stroke, multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury.
Our experienced staff can provide bespoke FES solutions to give you the best possible treatment.
Treatments will vary on your condition but a typical procedure is as follows:
- You will attend a clinic to be assessed. A physical examination will be made and a FES device will be tested.
- If the device is beneficial, you will then attend 2 set-up sessions where you will be taught how to use the device.
- There will be follow up assessments usually at:
- 6 weeks;
- 3 months later;
- 6 months later; and then
The clinic sessions will normally take 1 hour.
