Does prior use of an Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) effect the response to use of the Odstock Dropped Foot Stimulator in chronic stroke patients? (Conference abstract)

This study indicated that both groups (those who had used AFOs prior to FES and those who had not used an AFO before using FES) responded well to FES.  The non AFO users may have shown more long term training effect.
